Staying in touch with each other in these extraordinary times can be a daunting task. Freemasons across Leicestershire & Rutland have decided to take matters into their own hands and set up a video conference link to keep in contact.
The Light Blue Club, Leicestershire & Rutland's team of newer Freemasons organised an open video chat for every member who could attend at 9pm on Friday 27th March, to raise a glass, say hello, and keep each other's spirits up during this time of isolation.
The gathering was organised by Dennis Crommentuijn of Rothley Temple Lodge No.7801 and put to members of the Light Blue Club and other Freemasons within the Province.
Using the hashtag #TimetoToast as started by the United Grand Lodge of England, it is the intention of the Light Blue Club to keep this going, and at least once a week open the video conference up to any Freemason within the Province who wishes to raise a glass and toast his brothers wherever they may be.
