During a recent call between the Provincial Grand Master Peter Kinder and the Manager of Devonshire Court Juliet O'Conner, it became apparent that stocks of essential items were running very low.
A swift phone call to the Chairman of the Friends of Devonshire Court, David Lathrope, and the wheels were put in motion to offer help and assistance. The immediate requirement was to purchase toiletries for the residents, as stocks were running out. Over £450 of product was ordered, picked up, and delivered by David to the home the following Monday.
David said, "We are delighted to be able to help the residents in these unprecedented times".
The Friends of Devonshire Court are a group of likeminded individuals focussed on providing support to the Masonic Care Home, through visits, donations, and entertainment throughout the year.
